Meghan Markle knows exactly how the celebrity rumor mill goes, and is getting well ahead of the drama before it even had the chance to start up. Case in point: The Duchess held a gorgeous photo of her with beautiful baby boy, but made sure to let everyone watching know that the child was neither hers, nor Prince Harry’s.
Meghan held her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen's infant son, Jack Oliver, in a June 12 snap shared to her Instagram Stories. While it is somewhat possible that Meghan could pull off a secret pregnancy and deliver yet another redheadead—or that it would be an extramarital child on Harry’s behalf—she made it abundantly clear that she was just being sweet to her friend’s baby.
“We know I love a redhead. And let me stop you before they start, no, it's not his baby,” she wrote, an direct reference to her husband Prince Harry's signature red hair. Make no mistake—Meghan’s friend was in no way offended by the joke. Kelly responded with “Hahahahahhahahahahah,” so it’s safe to say that she had no issue with being part of it.
Meghan and Kelly have been long time supporters of each other, with Kelly gushing over their friendship recently. “We met 20 years ago, in a different life, and it's so amazing to show up for each other when things are also not perfect and great,” Kelly said in a March event. “She's been a part of my journey with the loss of my son, and she hasn't left my side since. It's a beautiful friendship, and I'm really grateful to have her."
While I would just love to see Prince Harry’s reaction to all of this…I, for one, can’t help but be a little jealous of the baby. 😭
